Cancer Council - Hope Ball
For the Cancer Council's 30th Anniversary event, I was tasked with creating a logo and comprehensive branding strategy. The goal was to honor the organization's legacy while effectively communicating its mission to raise funds for cancer research and support.
I began by developing a unique logo that encapsulated the essence of the Cancer Council and the significance of their 30-year milestone. The design process involved thorough research into the organization's history and values, ensuring the final logo was both meaningful and visually impactful.
Following the logo creation, I crafted a cohesive branding strategy that included selecting a color palette and typography that conveyed a sense of hope and community. These elements were designed to be used across various platforms, from event materials to digital media, ensuring a consistent and powerful visual identity.
To bring the branding to life, I coordinated and directed a series of photography sessions, capturing images that reflected the spirit of the Cancer Council and its beneficiaries. This included working with photographers to set up impactful shots, selecting appropriate props, and ensuring the overall styling was in line with the brand’s message.
The project culminated in the development of a suite of branded materials for the anniversary event, including brochures, banners, and social media graphics. My role extended to overseeing the production of these materials, ensuring high-quality outputs that stayed true to the brand’s new identity.
This project allowed me to showcase my skills in logo design, branding, and project management, resulting in a cohesive and inspiring brand identity that honored the Cancer Council’s 30-year commitment to the fight against cancer.
